The Advanced Neoprene Calf Support (UP5733) provides firm and even support to the calf and shin. The wraparound design allows a fully adjustable fit, ensuring compression can be applied to specific areas as required.
Material and Construction
The support is made from a soft neoprene blend. Neoprene helps retain warmth and promotes circulation,as a result, aiding the healing process. The support is latex-free and suitable for use on either the left or right leg.
Advanced Neoprene Calf Support Strap System
A 4-way adjustable strap system overlays the base support. Therefore, this allows additional compression to be applied to targeted areas, such as muscle trigger points or injury sites.
Compression Benefits
The compressive fit helps stimulate blood flow, which can reduce the build-up of lactic acid during and after physical activity. This may help reduce stiffness, cramp, and discomfort, while supporting recovery from minor injuries.
Recommended Use
- The UP5733 is suitable for:
- Calf muscle strains
- Shin splints
- Minor Achilles strains
It is classified as Support Level 3: Pro. This offers a higher level of support compared to the UP5430 (neoprene) and UP5160 (elastic) models.
