Description

Inspired by the tranquil artistry of Japanese Zen gardens, the Foku Chair in Dark Brown brings a grounded and contemplative presence to any space. Its fluted form echoes the rhythmic patterns of raked sand, balancing precise geometry with soft, organic volume. The deep, earthy tone enhances this sense of calm, evoking dark soil after rain, smoked wood, and quiet forest shadows.

Upholstered in a medium to heavy weight woven fabric, the chair features a tight basket weave structure created from thick, slightly irregular yarns. This gives the surface a subtle nubby texture with a natural, tweed-like character. The matte finish enhances its understated elegance while adding visual depth and tactility. Built for durability and everyday comfort, the material is equally suited for private homes and high-traffic environments such as hotels, lounges, and public spaces.

Generous in form and softly layered in construction, the Foku Chair offers exceptional comfort while maintaining a sculptural, architectural presence. Its modular design allows multiple pieces to be connected into larger seating arrangements, transforming effortlessly from a standalone lounge chair into a cohesive sofa landscape. Each piece includes metal brackets for secure assembly underneath the frame.

Both grounding and expressive, the Foku Chair is designed as more than seating - it is a flexible landscape of comfort, balance, and quiet sophistication.
