The Plinth Coffee Table, 80x80 is inspired by the timeless construction principles of traditional Japanese temples, a study in balance, simplicity, and quiet strength. Its sculptural form celebrates the beauty of structure, where every element exists in harmony and nothing feels excessive.

A perfectly square tabletop appears to float gently above its architectural base, creating a sense of lightness despite the solidity of the material. The distinctive cross-shaped construction draws the eye inward, establishing a calm visual rhythm that feels both grounded and effortless. Like the wooden beams of traditional Japanese architecture, each component supports the whole, creating a natural sense of stability and permanence.

Crafted from FSC-certified American Red Oak, the table reveals the natural character of the wood through its expressive grain and warm tones. Finished in Coffee Black Oak, a profound, very dark brown that borders on black, the surface recalls the richness of oak aged to its deepest intensity.
