With a 20 kg metal base, integrated weight poles, dual anchor points, and an anti-slip training surface, the Squat Plate is designed to stay steady under load while giving coaches, clinicians, and athletes the flexibility to create a wide range of resisted movement setups. Key Features Heavy-duty 20 kg base for a stable training foundation Integrated weight poles for adjustable loading and added stability Dual anchor points for flexible cable, pulley, and harness configurations Anti-slip surface for secure foot placement during high-force movements Designed for lower-body strength, power, acceleration, and rehabilitation training Compatible with 1080 Quantum, 1080 Cable, and 1080 Sprint systems Tested for loads up to 500 kg, including safety factors Specifications Plate dimensions: 1304 × 500 × 16 mm Assembled dimensions: 1304 × 500 × 60 mm Weight: 20 kg Material: Metal Includes 1 pulley Weight plates not included .product-faq { margin-top: 64px; border-top: 1px solid #e5e5e5; } .product-faq h3 { margin: 0 0 14px; font-size: 1.25rem; line-height: 1.3; } .product-faq details { border-bottom: 1px solid #e5e5e5; padding: 0; } .product-faq summary { cursor: pointer; list-style: none; padding: 18px 34px 18px 0; position: relative; font-weight: 600; line-height: 1.4; } .product-faq summary::-webkit-details-marker { display: none; } .product-faq summary::after { content: "+"; position: absolute; right: 4px; top: 50%; transform: translateY(-50%); font-size: 1.4rem; font-weight: 400; } .product-faq details[open] summary::after { content: "−"; } .product-faq .faq-answer { padding: 0 0 18px; color: #444; line-height: 1.65; } .product-faq .faq-answer p { margin: 0 0 12px; } .product-faq .faq-answer p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } Setup and Loading FAQ How much weight should be placed on the Squat Plate? The required weight depends on your floor surface, the friction available, the pulling angle, and the load used during training. There is no single fixed amount that applies to every setup. For high-force resisted work, add enough weight plates to keep the Squat Plate stable throughout the full exercise, including when stepping on and off the plate. As a reference, the 1080 Cable can generate approximately 150 kg of pulling force when used with a pulley between the machine and the Squat Plate, so the plate should be loaded accordingly for the specific use case. How much load can be used with the Squat Plate? The Squat Plate has been tested for loads up to 500 kg, including safety factors. This makes it suitable for demanding high-load resisted training setups when used correctly with any 1080 Motion system. Always ensure the Squat Plate is properly loaded, positioned, and used on a suitable surface before performing high-force exercises. What is the correct position between the Squat Plate and the 1080 system? The Squat Plate is designed to support flexible setups, including use with 1080 systems mounted on a pole, positioned at different pulling angles, or used with freestanding configurations. It works with the 1080 Quantum, 1080 Cable, and 1080 Sprint systems. Make sure the line is running freely throughout the full range of motion without rubbing against any surfaces.

Sprint 2

Ground-breaking training device used for horizontal resisted or assisted training and testing up to 180 m (197 yds) for e.g., sprinting, skiing, swimming, skating as well as Change-of-Direction movements. It allows for speeds up to 14 m/s (31 mph) and loads up to 70 kg (154 lbs.) Self-contained and portable with a built-in touch screen, it is internet-connected for data storage and analysis. With accessories, it functions as a cable machine for repetition-type exercises such as squats, lifts, rotations, pushes, and pulls for light strength training, rehab, and testing. How quickly does your running back cover 5 yards? When does the sprinter reach top speed and how long can she sustain it? Which players fatigue quicker over repetitive movements and which ones have higher power endurance? Does the left and right leg stride produce equal amount of force? This type of information is easily attained and helps create a better understanding of the performance characteristics of the athlete. CHANGE OF DIRECTION This is a key element in most athletic development. By applying the overload principle to CoD training and testing, you can spot for, and develop sport specific agility using your favorite drills. The data will reveal the detailed characteristics of each acceleration and deceleration phase of the movement far beyond what you can gauge from pure timing information. EVALUATE THE SYMMETRY OF MOVEMENT Test asymmetry throughout the full sport specific movement. This enables coaches to detect even the slightest differences in left and right side force and power. Large asymmetries may be detrimental to performance and lead to injuries over time. On the same token, monitoring the symmetry of an athlete coming back from injury provides good input to return-to-sport decisions. OVERSPEED TRAINING Just like always having available a perfect tail wind, the 1080 Sprint allows for neuromuscular adaptation to high speeds in a fully controlled environment. Using the precise settings of towing speed and force, coaches can apply the most beneficial overspeed formula to each individual athlete, consistently and repeatable. Maximum possible towing speed 14 m/s (31 mph). OVERSPEED VERSUS ASSISTED SPEED Any coach will agree that to get fast you have to train fast. But repetitive sprinting at or near top speed requires highly demanding accelerations which quickly cause fatigue. To increase the possibility for training at max or near max velocity, the 1080 Sprint can assist the athlete in getting there without full exertion in the acceleration phase.
