In this candle, coconuts take the back seat as salt air and nuances of palm fronds from the handmade umbrellas sticking out of the sand come forward. It is woodsy and tropical. 11:11’s Red Room candle was inspired by the founder’s early childhood memories in her home country of Cuba. In the 80’s to early 90’s there was a cabaret called The Red Room. While running errands with her father, he briefly visited the Red Room to secure a table for that evening. He held her hand and walked through the mysterious double doors. Yeney wasn’t there very long but the memory and the smell of this place would be forever carried in her mind. It was a swanky cabaret with tufted red velvet walls, dim red light as far as your eyes could see, dark mahogany furniture hidden in red velvet curtains with long red tassels and crushed red velvet drapery. A smoky, sultry ambiance fills the room as you listen to a saxophone playing in the background. This candle is soft, sensual, musky, and smokey. Sip some champagne and travel to the Red Room in Habana, Cuba with this candle. Notes: This candle is sultry and has a subtle complexity. Our Palo Santo comes from a tree native to Ecuador. In Spanish, the name translates to “Holy Wood”. It is enjoyed for it’s cleansing and healing properties. Our Palo Santo is hand cultivated and in it’s natural state. It is not altered or enhanced for the ultimate burning experience. How to use: Quiet your mind and focus on a clear intention to move the negative energy out of your space and replace it with positive energy. Hold the Palo Santo stick over a flame, preferably a candle and spit it slowly. Once it catches fire, simply blow out the flame or you can let it extinguish on it’s own. Smudge from corner to corner, room to room. You can even add a short prayer or saying as you cleanse your space. Do not leave unattended. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
