The MKIV Supra arrived in 1993 with a 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline-six and proceeded to embarrass faster and more expensive cars for the next decade. The twin-turbo sequential setup made 320 hp in Japanese-market specification with an iron block that the tuning community quickly discovered could handle two to three times that output on stock internals.
