Engine blocks, to be specific - the ones that require an engine hoist, a torque wrench, and an entire Saturday to pull from a bay. I Still Play With Blocks is the hoodie for the mechanic who started dismantling carbureted engines young and scaled up from there. The blocks got bigger, the tools got better, and the grease under the fingernails never fully came out.
