Thread - Cosmo variegated

1000 Hearts

This Cosmo thread is beautiful, perfect for heart-making and affordable - ticking all our boxes! It is made in Japan and I have it available in a number of the Seasons range of variegated threads, which change colour along the way, adding variety and gorgeous colour to your hearts. The 8000 range has gentle colour gradation all the way along, while the 9000 range has shorter and longer gradation of each colour. Both are lovely and suitable for heart-making. This six-strand thread is 100% cotton and comes as an 8m skein. Your hardest decision is choosing which colours you want - good luck!

Pre-Cut Hearts - Fabric (Various)

1000 Hearts

Fabric pre-cut hearts are a really fun way to add colour and design to your hearts, while keeping them sustainable, eco-friendly and easy to make. These hearts are made with various pure cotton fabrics including Japanese prints and other beauties that caught my eye. The possibilities are endless and as a quilt-maker from way back, I can never get enough of gorgeous fabrics. Each pack comes with twelve fabric fronts and twelve plain felt backs, as shown in the product photos - each pack will make twelve hearts. The gorgeous cotton print fabrics are backed onto pure wool felt, so you just pair a fabric covered front with a plain felt back, then stitch and stuff as usual. Fraying shouldn’t be a problem because the cotton fabric is fused to the felt, although you might occasionally get the odd stray thread (cos nobody’s perfect, right?)I’ve made these heaps of times and they are so gorgeous and fun to make. Packs come with a mix of different fabrics as shown and hearts are about 4.5cm wide.Fabric is pure cotton and felt is 100% pure wool.
