Felt sheets + template packs

1000 Hearts

For heartists who love to DIY and cut their own hearts, these felt packs are perfect. 100% pure wool felt sheets come in packs of ten colours which echo the classic pre-cut packs. Full size sheets are 30 x 20cm (A4) and half size sheets are 20 x 15cm (A5). Colour options are bright, pastel rainbow, 1000 Hearts and Earthy Rainbow (coming soon). Each pack comes wrapped in a strip of hearty printed paper with a pack of four original heart templates cut from coloured card. Purchase on their own or in combination with pre-cut hearts, wool stuffing, thread and buttons to create your perfect Heartist's kit.

Scraps & Offcuts

1000 Hearts

In the spirit of reducing waste and making the most of our gorgeous pure wool felt, these scraps and offcuts are offered for use in your heart-making or other crafts. Wonderful for cutting your own hearts and embellishments, they can also be utilised for collage, doll-making and countless other creative pursuits. Large Strips - 10 long (about 1m) pieces of felt in varying widths, each piece at least wide enough to cut our original hearts. Ten colours are provided. A great way to get wool felt for a fraction of the usual price. Small Strips, Pieces and Offcuts - great for embellishments, some pieces will be large enough to cut original hearts, but many are smaller and can be used for layered hearts and decorations. Packs include hand dyed offcuts, trimmed edges from the cutting process and various pieces and strips. Broken Hearts - pre-cut hearts with a piece lopped off during the cutting process. Great for layering and creating patchwork, arty and creative hearts.

Pre-Cut Hearts - Fabric (Aboriginal Art Prints)

Fabric pre-cut hearts are a really fun way to add colour and design to your hearts, while keeping them sustainable, eco-friendly and easy to make. These fabrics feature stunning Aboriginal Art Prints in different designs. A royalty from the sale of these fabrics was paid to the artists, and you can feel comfortable knowing these hearts celebrate the culture and artworks of our First Nations people. Each pack comes with ten fabric fronts and ten plain felt backs, as shown in the product photos - each pack will make ten hearts. The gorgeous cotton print fabrics are backed onto pure wool felt, so you just pair a fabric covered front with a plain felt back, then stitch and stuff as usual. Fraying shouldn’t be a problem because the cotton fabric is fused to the felt, although you might occasionally get the odd stray thread (cos nobody’s perfect, right?)I’ve made these heaps of times and they are so gorgeous and fun to make. Packs come with a mix of different fabrics as shown and hearts are about 4.5cm wide.Fabric is pure cotton and felt is 100% pure wool.

The original 50-packs of pre-cut hearts, these are a timeless classic and remain ever-popular. Choose from the classic Bright, Pastel, Rainbow, Earthy Rainbow, Neutral or 1000 Hearts colour ways, or from the range of special edition mixed colour packs shown.Hearts are pre-cut to the 1000 Hearts original template shape from pure wool felt in different colour combinations. Hearts have been die-cut using a customised die so each heart is exactly the same and colours can be mixed and matched as you please. Pre-cuts come in packs of 50, with 5 pieces each of ten colours as shown. Hearts are 4.5cm wide.

Kit - Make 1000 Hearts mega-kit

1000 Hearts

Making 1000 Hearts is a great challenge for an individual, team, school or workplace, and this mega-kit provides the supplies in a simple, all-in-one pack to get you there. You can purchase pre-cuts only, or combine with stuffing, needles, thread and cards and bags for wrapping hearts if you need those things too. Please choose the selection that works for you. Please note that Mega Kits are cut and made to order, so please allow 2-3 weeks processing time before dispatch. Pre-cuts come as a mixed batch of colours in one big bag (not stacked neatly like the 200 packs). This works beautifully for workshops and group sessions where people want to select their own colours. Quantities are enough to make 1000 hearts, so depending on what combination you order, you'll get 2000 pre-cuts, 1kg of stuffing, 20 skeins of thread (mixed colours), 24 needles, and 1000 each of biodegradable cellophane bags and card inserts. Community Hearts

1000 Hearts

Community Hearts are what 1000 Hearts is all about: inclusivity, accessibility and kindness. These hearts are a symbol of hope for a better world and can be shared anywhere kindness is needed. PLEASE NOTE - Community Hearts are offered individually, NOT in packs. If you order a quantity of 1, you will receive one single heart. Please ensure you order the number you require (maximum of 50 unless more have been requested and approved via email). You can: Receive hearts for free (you just pay for postage) Receive hearts and cover costs (you pay $2 per heart to cover costs of felt, stuffing, thread) Fund hearts for others to receive (you pay $2 per heart to help 1000 Hearts spread the love - you do not receive any hearts you order through this option - they will be sent to someone else at no cost to them) Community Hearts are stitched with love by people from all over Australia (and sometimes other places too). Most are made by a group of volunteers funded by 1000 Hearts. You can receive free pocket hearts made by our community, cover costs of the hearts you receive, or you can help fund our free Community Hearts and spread the kindness even further. More information Our Community Hearts are offered at no cost to reflect the guiding principle on which 1000 Hearts was built - kindness is free. You can contribute to our work by choosing the option to cover the costs of the hearts you receive, or funding hearts for others to receive. Please make sure you specify how many hearts you need by adjusting the quantity as you would for any other product. These hearts are ordered individually (ie if you order 1, you will receive 1 single heart, not a pack of multiple hearts). Please order only the number of hearts you require, and note there is a maximum number of 50 hearts available per order. Hearts come in different colours, materials (not all are wool felt or made from 1000 Hearts products) and sewing styles - the photos show examples, but yours may look different.
