Wait...seriously....this is THE cutest thing ever and you are going to LOVE IT!!!! Zippered pouch available in two sizes: large (22cm wide, 15cm high) and mini (12cm wide, 9cm high) Each pouch is handmade from beautiful quality linen with a slightly padded feel and lined with 1000 Hearts logo-printed fabric. There is a fabric heart appliquéd on the front of the pouch (over time, the edges of the heart may fray slightly*). Perfect for stashing supplies or hearting-on-the-go! Hearts come in a variety of designs with a colour coordinated zip. Please note that designs on the fabric heart will vary between pouches, depending on the fabric's pattern and how it has been cut. Pouches are handmade by Jo from String of Hearts and she is a whizz with the sewing machine - they are gorgeous! *I doubt this as the quality is beautiful, but Jo insisted that I put this disclaimer in here...

Kit - sHedway Fundraiser

1000 Hearts

sHedway is a grassroots health promotion charity for suicide prevention and mental fitness in Australia’s shearing industry. Their motto is "Keep Walking In, Keep Reaching Out." Sarah (founder of 1000 Hearts) met Carol (founder of sHedway) during the Rural Women's Awards process in 2025, when Carol went on to win the National award. In 2026, the sHedway team has proudly partnered with 1000 Hearts to share and celebrate kindness. $10 from every kit sold is donated to sHedway to support their work. In the shearing sheds, heart is respected above all. Heart is the grit and strength it takes to Keep Walking In to the sheep pen (or to life) no matter how tough the day is. And sHedway has found that by sharing actual hearts from 1000 Hearts, our tough and strong shearers and shed hands are able to share heart with each other. To not only Keep Walking In, but also to Keep Reaching Out to each other. This heart-making kit has been made to share heart, kindness and compassion with the shearing shed family of rural Australia. We are sending woollen love back to the home of wool! They will be shared with and by shearers, wool handlers, wool classers, wool growers, shearing contractors and wool brokers, and with their families and supporters. Hearts will be shared when strength, love, hope, courage and comfort are needed, to encourage people to Keep Walking In, Keep Reaching Out. Stickers can be an easier, more economical option than printing the card inserts and/or can be added if you have created your own message to go with hearts. One benefit of 1000 Hearts is being part of something bigger - these stickers let heart recipients know that they belong to our community. Stickers are about 4cm wide and come in packs of 20, 60 or 120. There are free downloadable resources available on this website that you can print to share the message of 1000 hearts (under Heartists - Heartist Resources tab).
