Sell the order in front of you
Wholesale does not wait for software onboarding. A buyer is in your showroom. A rep is on the phone. The PO needs to go in now—whether or not that retailer has an Ordrly account.
Today we are introducing Accounts: brand-owned wholesale buyers in your sales book. Import them, assign them to reps, and place orders with the same care you give marketplace Dealers—without requiring an Ordrly Connection.
Why Accounts exist
Ordrly’s promise is certainty: Can I make this decision without worrying I am making a mistake? Waiting for a Connection before you can write an order fails that test. Accounts close the gap between your real sales motion and the marketplace.
Accounts = your SFA / sales book (no Connection required)
Dealers = approved Ordrly Connections
Consumers = DTC end buyers
Optionally link an Account to a Dealer later for cleaner history. Linking helps; it never blocks the sale.
What you can do today
Import your book — Download the sample CSV, follow the Instructions tab, and upload. Matching prefers
external_id, then email.Place wholesale orders — Choose Account or Dealer, add lines, use Shipping TBD when freight is not final.
Bill later or Pay now — Keep offline workflows, or collect card in session / email a payment link with Ordrly Pay.
Assign reps — Each salesperson works their territory with the right Account visibility.
A simple day-in-the-life
Casey imports 200 Accounts from the brand’s SFA export. She assigns her West region. At a trade show she places an order for Corner Bottle Shop with Shipping TBD and Pay now—card collected on the spot. Next month Corner Bottle joins Ordrly; the team links the Account to the new Dealer so history stays continuous. No re-keying. No “we will enter it when they connect.”
Get started
In the Brand panel, open Accounts, download the sample CSV, and place your first Account order from Sales → Wholesale Orders.
